I tell everyone about Michael and his compassion. I have dealt with him twice and the deceased were not from New Milford. Other funeral homes in the county are so cold but people think they must use the local Funeral parlor-not true! The Boulevard is smaller BUT it is cheaper and definitely more agreeable. I experienced peace at a moment of unbearable grief. Thank you Michael. You are an angel!

As we all know, when you have a loved one pass away it hits really hard! You must quickly go to the reserve tank and find the energy to do things like make "the call" to have your loved one taken care of after they pass. My mom passed away at 4:50am. Michael had told me, during a call that we had a few days prior (anticipating that my mom would pass soon), that regardless of the hour, to call his main number and there would be someone to take my call. Well, at 5:10am on that sad morning, I did (had to) do just that. A nice lady, providing an answering service function, took my call and said that I would receive a call back. What I didn't think would happen is that I'd receive that return call from Michael 20 minutes later, from his home, after he had only been home for about 30 minutes. Yes...He had to pull an all-nighter due to dealing with an issue arranging the sending of a loved one remains from another family overseas. So, here is Michael calling back after such a tough night and he was as nice, calm, caring and respectful to me after my mom had just passed! Such a nice gesture! You can be professional (and should be), but to be that nice and helpful at 5:30am, after his tough night, was extremely appreciated. On that phone call, he calmly went through the steps that needed to be done. By 10:30am, my brother and I met him at the funeral home and took care of the arrangements for cremation. That was on a Friday. By Monday, my mom's ashes were in my possession! What Michael and his staff did for me and my family is really special! In this fast paced world we all live in now, it's really hard to find the kind of care and attention to detail that Michael provided. Thank you, so much, Michael! Sincerely, Robert Randall Rashkow

Thank you Michael and staff for all you did for my father & mother-in-law and my own mother!! Michael did a wonderful job for my farher-in-law John who passed away in Florida during Hurricane Sandy and he was brought up here to Boulevard Funeral Home!! The power went out and Michael was able to get a generator so we could have John’s wake!! He remembered John when my mother-in-law Paulette passed in 2021!! Then again when my mom passed in 2022!! Even though mom was from Dumont, I chose to come to Michael, because it felt like the place to be to have her wake!! He even came to my house in Paramus to get Mom’s clothes for her burial!!! Thank you so much, Michael, for everything you’ve done for our family!!!

Dealing with 2 funeral homes over 1500 miles apart Michael made this transition effortless. I could not have managed the details to which he took care of.
