James Walsh Obituary

James C. Walsh was 86 years old when he passed away suddenly on Monday, February 16, 2026. Born and raised in New York City, James was a resident of New Milford for 52 years. James was a longtime member of IATSE Local 52, serving the television and motion picture industry in the New York and New Jersey area. He had a very exciting career as an electrician in the entertainment industry, working with some of Broadway and Hollywood's biggest stars, as well as sports figures. James was a member of the Bergenfield Elks Lodge 1477 for over 50 years. He was a passionate New York Giants fan and a longtime season ticket holder. 

James was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Margaret T. Walsh. He is survived by his son James Walsh, his daughter Debbie Walsh, and his son Kevin Walsh. He is also survived by his grandchildren Sean, Steffani, and Breana, and his great-grandsons Noah and Jasper.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, February 19th, from 4:30 pm to 8 pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home, 1151 River Road, New Milford. The following day, Friday, a funeral service will be offered in the funeral home at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
