Dennis M. Montgomery

Dennis M. Montgomery of New Milford, NJ passed away suddenly at the age of 64, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Dennis was born and raised on Hull Avenue in the Gun Hill section of the Bronx, New York. He attended Saint Brendan School and later went on to graduate from All Hollows High School. Upon graduation, Dennis joined Ironworkers Local 580 of New York City where he worked for many years before retiring. He was an avid fan of the Yankees, Giants, and Rangers. He enjoyed all types of music and spending time at the Jersey Shore. Above all else he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren in their backyard grilling, drinking beers, and blasting music so he could dance with everyone.

Dennis is predeceased by his late parents Anne (White) and Robert Montgomery as well as his late brother Kevin Montgomery. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years and childhood sweetheart, Theresa (Kelly) Montgomery. Dennis is the loving father of Tracy Willis and her husband Sean, Robert Montgomery, Dennis Montgomery and his wife Marialisa, Matthew Montgomery and his wife Michele, and Kellie Apap and her husband Paul. He is the dear brother of Kelly Montgomery and the brother-in-law of Kerry Montgomery. Dennis is the cherished grandfather of Aidan, Brendan, Colleen, Gianna, Matthew, Paulie, Elizabeth, Denny, and Nicholas. He is also survived by his nephew Jonathan and many cousins, Aunt’s and Uncle's.

Visiting hours will be held at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford, New Jersey on Sunday, March 24th from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm. The following day, Monday, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated in his memory at the Church of Saint Anne, Fair Lawn, NJ at 9:30 am. A private cremation will follow.
