Franklin Fernando Romero Jimenez also known as “Nando” of La Vega, Dominican Republic was 71. Early Thursday morning, February 22, 2024 Franklin decided to say his last goodbyes and is survived by his loving wife Modesta A. Fanas, and his eight children, Franklyn Jr., Alvin, Adelkys, Adely, Natalia, Jahaira, Kelbin, and Elvis. Franklin Romero grew up in Villa tapia, Hermanas Miraba, Dominican Republic, where he played and manage baseball. He also managed softball in Pelham Park, NY. Franklin won 3 championships during his tenure.
